The inspiration
Why we decided to create KnotLove
Noticed a common theme in relationship subreddits, forums and also other real life couples— People find it really hard to ask for something spicier in the bedroom!
Fear of judgement and shame seemed to be holding a lot of people back from enjoying intimacy with their partners, and needed help to find a solution.

Pose fun new bedroom ideas for couples to try out
Help individuals explore their own desires and kinks
Create an all inclusive and safe place to have conversations about sex, kink and desire.
Getting a Feel for our Market
Read tons of forums, interviewed potential users, researched potential competitors. Spoiler— any competitors in the field are either underdeveloped, or focused on different functions (such as dating apps, and kink quizzes)

The core function
KnotLove in it’s simplest form is an app designed to have users answer questions about their sexual desires in a low-pressure and honest way.
Then taking those answers, comparing them to their partner’s, and providing things to do that the couple will both enjoy.

This is to lessen the pressure and fear of judgement while honestly curating your likes and dislikes.
Curated List of Desires
All of your answered and rated questions are sorted into a personal list, that only you can see! This is so users can explore their own sexual desires honestly without fear of partner reactions.
Including an option to sort through Desires by keywords, rating, favorites, and also chats with your partner.
Don’t worry, there is also a separate curated list view that displays interests you and your partner both share!
KnotLove has activities that explore casual, non-sexual intimacy as well.
If Knot Dates are more your speed, that’s perfectly fine. You can always upgrade and unlock the sexual aspect of your relationship when both parties are ready.
